The Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS) is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme, which is the only national cross-sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. There are three levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold – each demonstrating more stringent development criteria.
Silver CAPS means that Kardale Netball Club is proficient in a wide range of areas, including:
• Safeguarding and protecting children and young people
• Developing coaches, umpires and volunteers
• Developing links with schools
• Raising the profile of the club
• Adopting good practice with regards to duty of care and sports equity
We are trying to now work toward the highest level possible for a netball club – GOLD!
